2Solar by Sollit is one of the fastest growing tech companies in the renewable energy space, and the largest of it's kind in Europe. After entering the German market last year our international sales team is now looking for some further support. As the new Business Development Representative, you will join our sales team located in Zwolle (Amsterdam or Heerlen are also options).

Here you can work with international clients, and learn from the Account Managers in the team while collaborating closely with Customer Success, Product and Support.

You will build your market knowledge, learn from others and support the Dutch and German teams in their acquisition sprints. Hyperfocusing on specific cities, you identify and contact the first customers. Representing 2Solar, you focus on the need assessment, providing value is essential to us.

You will learn from the seniors in the team and slowly take over the build-up of new regions and also grow into managing the full sales cycle. Due to our significant growth in Germany, you also get the opportunity to leave your mark on our expansion from Day 1.

About the role

Your key responsibilities:

  • Conducting (online) researches for new business opportunities

  • Reaching out to and qualifying leads, both generated by marketing campaigns (events, website, social media…) and your own research.

  • Regularly align on leads feedback, company messaging and lead qualification processes with other departments, including product, sales and marketing

  • Support sales and marketing with creating the right documentation to pitch to potential customers.

Who are you

  • Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar role

  • Strong and enthusiastic communicator

  • Result-driven

  • German native speaker, fluent in English, Dutch is a plus

  • Experience with Hubspot is a plus

  • Experience in solar and renewables is a plus
