About the job

As our Head of Sales, you lead, guide and motivate the Benelux sales team towards developing strong(er) customer relationships, ultimately resulting in an increase in sales revenue. You are able to develop sales plans, drive performance and operational excellence and ensure we achieve our sales KPI’s, as well as contributing to the greater vision and strategy of the 2Solar organization. In this role, you will be reporting directly to the CEO and working closely with all departments of 2Solar.

What are the challenges?

  • Create a culture of ownership and accountability rather than just working with sales development representatives. Everyone in the organization helps to build pipelines; 

  • You are going to ensure that the training, coaching and mentoring of the sales team is effective. This way, we guarantee continuous personal development of our salespeople;

  • Assess where the flow of the process needs to be adjusted. Subsequently, make the necessary adjustments, so the objectives are achieved in the best possible way;

  • Provide forecasting and summarizing reports for our management team and use the data to analyze the market and competition and to create strategic steps accordingly;

  • You will establish and communicate current/future sales quotas for the team;

    You are going to assist in the execution of the hiring plan for 2023 and beyond. Our expansion plans are ambitious, so we need all the help we can get. Your network might just be the key to our growth;

  • Facilitate a strong brand story, so our customers understand the ROI of the product;

  • Maintain Executive Buyer relationships whilst also satisfying the stakeholders;

  • Supporting the setup of processes and workflows for new markets. 

About you

  • 7+ years of sales experience, of which most in SaaS of which 4+ years in sales leadership, managing a team in the Europe region; 
  • Bachelor's or higher, in a relevant working field. Preferably in Business, Economics or Marketing/Sales;
  • Extensive experience in scaling and managing a team in Europe/EMEA-region; 
  • Broad experience with (sales) metrics and (value drive) sales processes; 
  • Deep technical understanding of web services/API’s and system integrations (SaaS).
