Being a Software Developer at 2Solar gives you the opportunity to contribute to the sustainable energy transition. You will develop new features and optimize our existing software to make our product even better and faster! Developers at 2Solar work in an international environment with several projects and project teams. Your vision, knowledge, and input is welcome in our fast-growing organization.
Our tech-stack consists of Node.js, VueJS, AWS, PHP, Laravel and MySQL;
Your primary focus is Back-end Development;
Together with your team, you will improve our platform to make things even better.
For example; Develop new features, refactor our code to microservices, improve and optimize our database, integrate with third party applications and work with new frameworks and technologies;
You will work on our comprehensive web application to speed up the energy transition; 2Solar operates on multiple platforms, such as web and mobile.
You have experience with MySQL or other relational databases (e.g., Postgres);
You have (some) experience with AWS and Lambda or other cloud providers (e.g., Azure, GCP);
You have (some) experience with PHP and/or Laravel;
You have (some) frontend development skills (HTML, CSS and JavaScript / Vue.js);
You have worked in Agile/Scrum teams before;
You are open to learn new frameworks and technologies;
You stand for quality and are constantly looking for solutions on how to make things even better;
You are ambitious, a team player, professional and performance-oriented.

In this role you will mainly be working on developing new functionalities and optimizing our existing software to an even better scalable product. This is a hybrid position meaning that you can switch between working from our offices in Amsterdam and/or Zwolle and from home.
