Sr. QA Engineer
At 2Solar by Sollit we're looking for an experienced QA Engineer to join our team.
We are seeking a passionate and experienced QA Engineer to join our team in Zwolle. As a QA Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing test cases, identifying and reporting defects, and working closely with development teams to improve software quality.
Our current QA Engineers, are already experienced and very well integrated into the teams. Now they are looking for a skilled colleague who wants to take more of a leading role. The type of colleague they can go to when they are stuck and who would be interested in improving processes together.
Responsibilities:
Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases to ensure software quality and functionality.
Utilize various testing methodologies, including functional, integration, regression, and performance testing.
Identify, document, and track software defects and work closely with development teams to resolve issues.
Automate test cases using appropriate tools and frameworks to improve efficiency and test coverage.
Analyze test results and provide detailed reports on software quality and performance.
Stay up-to-date with the latest QA methodologies, tools, and technologies.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and ensure quality standards are met.
Proven experience as a QA Engineer with a strong understanding of software development lifecycle.ISTQB certification or similar.
Multiple years of experience in setting up testing process for a complex software(SaaS or similar), defining testing strategy and defining test plans.
Experience with Cypress, Playwright are advantageous.
Experience with testing different kinds of applications: backend, frontend, mobile.
Willingness to mentor other team members and spread knowledge across the team, ideally combined with practical experience
Strong stakeholder management skills, you need to be an active partner to our Engineering and Product teams as well as the leadership team.
Excellent communication skills in English. Dutch would be an asset.
Knowledge of scripting languages (PHP, Javascript) is a plus.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
